Next version of iSedora Media Server is under active development. We are about 30% ready on both platforms.

The server is fully redesigned with all new preferences interface and rewritten from scratch transcoding back end. We are focusing on supporting more video/subtitles formats, speed and memory usage.

New major feature for Mac OS will be native integration with Photos on El Capitan and iTunes, iPhoto, Aperture on Mac OS 10.9+.

Both platforms will support server startup in service/daemon mode on computer boot without user login.

The minimum system requirements have changed:

• Mac OS 10.9 (64-bit)
• Windows 7 (32/64-bit)
